POLICIES

ATTENDANCE

Absences: All attendance is monitored as we believe consistent attendance leads to strong work ethic and the best results possible. Please notify the studio when dancer will be absent.

Tardiness: Please arrive a few minutes early and come prepared for each class. Dancers arriving later than 10 minutes will be allowed in at the discretion of the teacher. Dancers arriving 15 minutes late to class will not be permitted to attend that class. We understand things happen and dancers not allowed in class due to tardiness are welcome to take a make-up for that class.

Make-up Policy: Missed classes can be made up within one month of missed class. Dancers can make up a class in any technique as long as it is same level/age or lower than that of the class that was missed. Please inform the desk that you are making up a class before attending. Dancers that drop class cannot make up any more classes as of their drop date. 

STUDIO ETTIQUETTE

  • Parents are not allowed to sit in class and watch. We have provided parents that wish to observe with a viewing monitor in lobby that displays classes taking place in studios 1 through 4. We also have observing windows into studios 1 through 5.​

  • Please do not leave any children unattended in the waiting room. â€‹

  • No food, gum, or drink (other than water) allowed in the studios.

  • ​It is inappropriate to discuss other people's children. Gossip is not welcome at Evolve Dance Center. â€‹

  • Please be respectful of all other dancers and parents. We strive to create a positive and inviting experience for all.

TUITION FAQS

Why do we pay for a full month of tuition when there are holidays and our children do not attend the full month?  

Your monthly tuition is based on a full dancing season, which makes 40 dance days including dress rehearsal and concert show dates. Tuition will not be prorated due to holidays or absences.

When is tuition due?  

Tuition is due on the 25th of each month and will be considered late on the 1st of each month.  A $20 late fee will be charged for payments received after the 1st of the month.  There will be no exceptions with this policy.  An email will be sent out on the 20th as a reminder but it is your responsibility for payment.

 

How can I pay for tuition?

We accept Cash, Visa & MasterCard. Once tuition is paid, there are no refunds.

Does your studio do auto-pay for tuition?

Yes! Evolve Dance Center has an autopay tuition system you can opt-into. If your account is on autopay, the primary card on file will be charged on the 25th of the month for your tuition amount. 

GENERAL

Registering for Classes (Levels & Ages): We ask that you register your dancer for a class that is the same age and level of your dancer. If you are unsure of your dancer's level, they are welcome to trial the beginner level of the class in their age group for their desired style where the instructor will evaluate them for class placements. Evolve Dance Center has the authority to adjust placement for each dancer to make sure the class is appropriate. 

 

Class Enrollment: Evolve Dance Center has the right to drop a dancer that misses 2 or more weeks in a row without prior communication regarding absence. Tuition for that month will not be refunded.
